Since the end of 2009 Asifa Italia website has been hosting the Stop Motion Forum, a thematic agorà meant to promote a technique towards which the attention and the financing are lately grown up indeed.

Just think about films by Aardman and the ones created by Tim Burton which awoke the public's interest, refreshing a tradition of great successes from unforgettable stars in Hollywood, like Ray Harryhausen and Phil Tippett.

Promoted by Emiliano Fasano and Michelangelo Fornaro, the Forum is the occasion of opening a privileged meeting point, providing the experts with an observation post of the contemporary production, identifying again the different professional tasks, offering a work guidance for the future, examining the Italian situation from an international point of view.

Facing all those matters from close up also means improving the level of communication among the involved people and guarantees a higher and higher level of technique specialization to the professionals of the sector.

From that point of view the Forum is an important tool for spreading on a large scale knowledge, experiences, proposals coming from different work, cultural and artistic contexts.
