26th March 2013 Bologna Licensing Trade Fair
Lynx: transmedia views
Next 26th March Lynx Multimedia Factory will present its multimedia production and services business at the upcoming Licensing Trade Fair in Bologna, coinciding with the Bologna Children’s Bookfair.

Luca Raffaelli, journalist, expert in the field of comics and animation film, will chair the event welcoming the company born from the meeting of an animation studio (Musicartoon), a publishing services company (Red Whale) and a company dedicated to the development of original works (JobAnimation.eu), able together to create contents for all media.

Thanks to the meeting of complementary roles and skills, Lynx faces all new projects with a 360 degrees view, aiming at their full development on the different media.

At the Licensing Trade Fair Lynx will therefore talk about the transmedia strategy supporting its productions, showing the narrative worlds of its projects and the architectural plans at the basis of cartoon series, books, comics series, videogames, digital media and tv format for kids.

Lynx will present three main projects which the company is making agreements in different business areas for: “Cooking Girls”, the adventures of a bunch of girls making its way into the world of cooking and cooking shows; “Cricky Freaky”, the daring stories of a postman cricket and a cheeky female radish fostering the friendship between the peoples of insects and plants; “Gaga”, the adventurous travels in space of a little astronaut collecting planets.

The basis of any work is the making up of its narrative world. Coherent, complete, already set for different sales channels, but not developed yet.
“Hereafter Lynx works out the transmedia architecture on the basis of the values and characteristics expressed by all imageries” – says Katja Centomo, Transmedia Manager of the company – “Our production team outlines what we call “the map”, that is the chart showing the multimedia development and the connections with the different commercial areas. A group of experts develops each of those paths in the specific area, audiovisual, publishing and digitalo ne.

But the business of Lynx goes beyond and divides among production, consultancy and services. On the 26th March in fact, much room will be given to “Jules Verne”, a tv series dedicated to children 6 to 10 years old co-produced by Rai Fiction, Lux Vide and Musicartoon and represented by Lynx in what concerns licensing. Bologna is an important meeting point for “Jules Verne” with publishing and all companies interested to acquire the license.
