"Egyxos" on De Agostini channel Super!, from 22nd February
De Agostini Publishing, DeAKids, Planeta Junior and Musicartoon have teamed up to coproduce “Egyxos”, a new animated action-comedy series conceived to break into the hearts of a young audience. A preview of the series will be shown on Super!, the free-to-air channel 47 of the digital terrestrial and on 625 Sky channel, Sunday 22nd of February, at 10 a.m. “Egyxos” will be finally on air all the weekends, saturday and sunday at 10 a.m.

The quality of animation is guaranteed by Musicartoon (co-producers of "The extraordinary adventures of Jules Verne"), the quality of writing is certified by the team of Red Whale (authors of "Monster Allergy"), whereas the strength of the whole multimedia project comes from De Agostini group.

Conceived in 2011 by De Agostini Publishing as a flow-pack product (sachet with an action figure to collect), the property obtained a positive outcome from the male audience. De Agostini group has thus decided to join DeAKids' expertise with Planeta Junior (a company of the De Agostini group, leader in licensing) and Musicartoon (one of the main Italian animation company) to turn Egyxos into an animated series, entirely made in Italy.

An extra content will be online at SuperTv: character's profiles, videos, themed quiz. There will be a lot of games, videos and extra content only available in the mobile application of Second Screen of Super! Moreover a mobile application is about to be launched (on 22th February) by De Agostini Publishing: “Egyxos – Labyrinth Run” will be available for smartphone and tablet iOS and Android at a starting prize of 0,99 €.

“Egyxos” tells the story of an ancient civilization, transported in another dimension, that is about to come back. “Egyxos” is a community strongly similar to humans but provided with exceptional powers. They are splitted into two divisions in combat the one with the other for the control of the reign, and led by two brothers: the wise and valiant Kefer, and the cruel and dark Exaton.

As the story develops, Leo, a young human, will be reluctantly involved in the endless battle between the two rival brothers. Leo is the unknowing wielder of a mighty power, as he is the last pharaoh on earth. When he takes awareness of his power, his life changes into an extraordinary adventure between the two worlds.
