24th May 2015 Miyazaki in Genoa
The animation of Hayo Miyazaki
From May, 21th to June, 3rd in the Filmclub theatre, Genoa, Salita Santa Caterina 12, the review “Animation of Hayo Miyazaki” is on screen with 10 masterpieces worthy of being rediscovered and seen again. The review is matching with the release of the expected documentary “The Reign of Dreams and Madness”, realized by Studio Ghibli and directed by Mami Sunada (unique event Lucky Red, May 25th and 26th).

Obtained the unlimited permission to get into the Ghibli Studio, the director Sunada has followed the work of the masters Miyazaki and Takahata and that of the producer Toshio Suzuki during a year, while they where intent on completing their latest masterpieces. The aim of the review in Genoa is to give everyone the opportunity to discover and appreciate the creativity and the art of the famous Japanese master. It's possible here to see all the most famous masterpieces of Miyazaki, from “Howl's Moving Castle” to “Spirited Away”, from “My Neighbor Totoro” to “Porco Rosso”.

The screenings take place everyday at the following time: 4 p.m., 6.30 p.m., 9.15 p.m. The ticket costs 5€. For the possessors of Card Gold, Campus, Family and Young the price is 4€.
